In a strange row of events, I found myself visiting both the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation and Mina Zayed today. The Cultural Foundation sits next to the historical site of Qasr Al Hosn which used to be the palace of the head of the Bani Yas tribe back in the day. The Foundation regularly hosts cultural events (as you can imagine) and exhibitions. I was there helping a friend with documentation of the exhibition.
Walking through the Cultural Foundation, it’s easy to get lost in the rich history and artistic expressions that fill its halls. The beautifully restored space not only honors Emirati heritage but also breathes new life into contemporary art. Whether it’s a thought-provoking exhibition or a live performance, the energy of creativity is everywhere.

The lighting outside the Cultural Foundation is always amazing, and I rarely ever take photos of it but today I took at least this one:

After we were done with the shoot, we stopped by another hip and upcoming exhibition place called 421. I briefly had a look at the exhibition, but the urban decay of the surroundings and the “funny” name of the street where this place was located were calling for me to get outside.

All the photos are taken with Fujifilm X100V and Eterna film simulation.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon,
Anna
