Seeing interesting things in the streets that you have walked a thousand times is harder than capturing something in the place you have never been before (though, some people struggle even there). Same Street, Different Stories captured in Dubai Marina.
Since the security people of Dubai Marina pretty much don’t give a crap about me roaming about, this is where I directed my feet in search of photographic inspiration. Most people would go there to shoot the towers (it’s a place of 400 high rises in one spot). I am more interested in the pockets of light and the people.
Now, does Dubai Marina Photography really look that different every day? Well, the sun moves every day in a slightly different way. Some days it’s windy, some days it’s cloudy, sometimes it is more humid than other days. On top of that, I have the freedom to choose when to get out of my apartment (due to the fact that nobody is hiring me to do anything this month for some reason).
I also decided to stick to one lens throughout this whole time, which is not the most exciting but mighty Fujinon WR 23mm F2.
Below are the results of Dubai Marina Photography, hope you see something you like out there.

As the week went by, I started noticing the little things that often go unnoticed. The way the morning light reflects off skyscrapers, the quiet moments of solitude. Each day brought a different mood, influenced by my own perspective. It’s a reminder that even in a place as familiar as Dubai Marina, there’s always a new story waiting to be told.
Thanks for stopping by as always,
Would you be interested to roam Dubai Marina in search for photos?
